Honour Roll Preface

The Honour Roll on this Site shows the Lists of Veterans, Fallen and POWs, for Australian (Army, RAAF, RAN), UK (Army, RAF, RN), Czech (Army) and Polish (Army) Rats of Tobruk.

The Honour Roll Lists displayed on this ROT Tribute Site, come from the National ROT Database, both of which, are the Original and Only, created and owned by Owen Carlton, as part of his 2008 Rats of Tobruk Project; an ongoing Project and a Labour of Love, for our Famous Rats of Tobruk..

The Data to build this Honour Roll, has come from a multitude of sources:-

• Service Records viewable at NAA, Early ROT Newsletters, Commonwealth War Graves records, Red Cross POW records, and other Sources, for confirmation of Service, as a Rat of Tobruk.
• Brigade and Unit War Diaries from the AWM.
• Unit Nominal Rolls from Associations or Books.
• Unit Association Books.

Contrary to all efforts being made to do so, the Creator/Owner of this Site cannot guarantee the integrity of all Data shown on the Honour Roll, because not all Service Records of Individuals are viewable online at NAA for Verification of Service as a Rat of Tobruk.

The Content of the Honour Roll is a constant work in progress;  as information comes to hand adjustments will be made accordingly.

If Errors or Omissions are found to be present, please contact the Creator/Owner (Contact Menu) and attempts will be made to correct Errors or to add additional Rats of Tobruk to the National ROT Database.
